Setting up the Meta Quest 3 Headset

Class recap:

• Reviewed Assignment 1, including Apple Vision Pro personas for collaboration, highlighting concerns of accessibility and privacy at the forefront of these innovative technologies.
• We met Winston, a product manager at Meta Reality Labs, who showcased everyday XR everyday consumer applications (ex: PianoVision).
• In our in-class activity, we ideated user needs in spaces such as healthcare, social connection, and education & brainstormed HMW’s with our Meta guests.
• Paired up for **Assignment 2 due next Tuesday night**, and passed out headsets!

Action Items:

• Join our Discord and share an article about the XR industry on #general.
• Create a Bezi account and get familiar with the platform for next week’s class with Bezi’s founders.
• Set up the headset!
• Bring back lanyards for next week’s class.

Looking ahead to this Friday’s XR workshop, we will get a technical overview of the Meta platform from our Meta guests.
