Round 1: General Idea Brainstorming (05/02)

During our first session, we did a timed brainstorming sprint under the categories of healthcare and education (the 2 themes we were most interested in as a group). We did a tiered voting process: voted for our top 4 favorite ideas, then of the most popular options, voted for our favorite (modified a little during our discussion): virtual exploration + education of how the immune system responds to a disease.

Preliminary Market Research + Pivot

After further discussion and market research, we decided to pivot (still in the realm of education) our topic to the environment, as we felt this problem space offers more room for novelty in the types of interactions and subject matter we can play with + aligns with our interests in developing an experience that promotes social change.

Initial HMWs and Use Cases

After shifting topics to sustainability and climate change, we each brainstormed multiple HMWs and clustered them into themes: encouraging behavior change, creating empathy, exploring the environment, and understanding water quality.
