Class 2 Slides

Today in class, we:

• met Ariane, the new CA
• got to know our teams and came up with our team names
• did some project topic brainstorming, involving lots of post-its and whiteboarding
• created and presented lo-fi prototypes
• met with mentor Addison Black, Spectacles Producer at Snap Inc. (Zoom Recording here)
• learned how to request Snap Spectacles
• received our Meta Quest 3 headsets!

Assignments

• Follow the steps on slide 49 of the Class 2 Slides to get access to Snap Spectacles (Complete by tonight, 4/9/25)
• Slack in your team chat the team headset owner's name and email (I only need one person's)
• Book a meeting with Addison
• Assignment 2: Briefs Pitch

Important Notices:

• Attendance Taking: As we mentioned in class, we are testing a new attendance taking format. In class, we will put up a Google Form for you to fill out attendance with a group (1-2 buddies). If anyone in your attendance group is found to be absent, you will all be marked as absent.
• Meta Headsets: We have noted and marked which headsets and controllers have been allocated to which team by QR code. Please take care of them, or you will be responsible for any damage or losses
• Snap Spectacles: If you need prescription inserts for the Snap Spectacles, fill out the Insert forms ASAP
