


It was so great to meet everyone in class today! Below, we have a couple updates and summary of what we covered today, also available through Class Updates on the Notion syllabus. Class 1 slides.
Today in class, we:
- met the teaching team!
- did a “Creative Tensions” activity, where we debated whether a hot dog was a sandwich, or whether generative AI should be added to AR.
- went over the course logistics, timeline, and details for the final project expo.
- formed teams and went over **Assignment 1 which focuses on critically evaluating XR use cases to understand their impact on users**—due next Tuesday at midnight.

- Dropping the Class: We understand that schedules and commitments can evolve, leading you to reconsider your current course load. - Notion Invitation: Everyone that has been accepted into the class should have received an invite to your Stanford email to the DXR Spring 2024’s Assignments teamspace, please let me know if you haven’t!
- Enrollment Code: Your enrollment code for Axess will be sent to your email on Friday, so keep an eye out for that.
- Final Project: Looking ahead, save the date for Friday, June 7, from 6-9pm at the d.school, where we’ll convene for our Final Project Presentation & Expo!
